Big Red Broiler & Cornish Cross

We raise both Big Red Broilers and Cornish Cross breeds for meat production. We love the foraging and movement that the red broilers offer although they need a few extra weeks to grow out. We love the meat quality of the Cornish when raised on pasture, but do not enjoy their lack of motivation to forage and free range. Both breeds serve a purpose on the homestead and are quality birds bringing nutrient dense meat to the table.

We feed Tucker Milling Nature’s Crest non GMO no corn/soy feed to our meat birds, and also encourage foraging for additional nutrients from grasses, bugs, seeds, and other yummy foods found in nature.
